Acupuncture is a gem of Chinese heritage with its origins dating back thousands of years. Acupuncture helps to promote the body’s natural/self-healing power. By inserting sterilized needles at precise and specific points and applying heat or electric stimulation, acupuncture helps to relieve pain and alleviate the symptoms of many health problems. Occasionally, the fine needles may cause small bruises on the skin, but they should disappear within days.
